Lorraine Glass
Constituency Support Manager

Lorraine is the Constituency Support Manager, and her main responsibility is to ensure the smooth running of the constituency office as well as the case work. She studied Accountancy at university, and later completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Psychotherapy. Previous jobs have included, office management, working with homeless departments in local council, with 3rd sector organisations and NHS in supporting people with mental illness and emotional conflict.  In her spare time she likes being with her family, with friends, with herself or travelling, reading and learning.

Chris Bambery     
Westminster Parliamentary Assistant

Chris manages George’s Westminster diary, which entails scheduling meetings with financial journalists and banking officials as well as organising parliamentary events. He monitors London media coverage and briefs George for meetings of the Treasury Select Committee and Chamber debates. He is the author of A People's History of Scotland and has worked for many years as a journalist and TV producer.

Ruth Currie    
Constituency Case Worker     

Ruth also works for George as a Constituency Case Worker, assisting constituents with a similar range of concerns. She has a strong grasp of local authority issues, having been a Councillor for Fa’side from 2007–2012, and an encyclopaedic knowledge of the County. Ruth lives in Musselburgh and enjoys the beautiful East Lothian countryside, with its diverse towns and villages, as well as a range of outdoor activities. When she has some spare time she likes to work in the garden or read a good book.

Karen Coe
Constituency Case Worker

Karen’s main responsibility is obtaining a positive result for constituents’ cases through liaison with a multitude of agencies, departments and people, including the Department of Work and Pensions, housing departments, HMRC, utility companies and immigration authorities. She has experience of working in Customer Care, Marketing & Sales and Administration. In her spare time she is a keen runner, enthusiastic DIY-er,
random gardener, average acrylic painter. She also enjoys socialising with friends.    


Angela Wrapson         
PA and Diary Secretary    

Angela is George’s Personal Assistant, Diary Secretary and wife. She is responsible for making appointments for him within the constituency and elsewhere in Scotland, for overseeing media liaison, and for forward planning. For seven years she was Director, Scotland, of the Hansard Society, a London-based educational charity which promotes citizenship education, and thereby has experience of dealing with the Scottish, UK and European Parliaments. She loves reading, theatre, travel and watching the antics of their three naughty cats.
